Choose a look

Before the redesign, you tell the crew how the new site should feel and pick one of three style boards. How should the business feel? A box with suggestions under it Pick a look 1. On the Look step, describe the feeling in the box, or click a suggestion such as Warm and local, Editorial, black and white, Bold like a market or Calm and premium. 2. Press Start. It's free. Paws, Tiger and Shadow come back with three boards. 3. Click a board to see its details in the side panel, then press Use this look. Three style boards, with colours, type and photos for the selected one What a board shows - Colour: background, surface, brand and text colours with their hex codes, and how readable the text is (for example 6.3 : 1). - Type: the heading font and the font for running text. - Photos: taken from the client's own site. Not quite right? Make three more under the boards, with a Page goal and a Director to steer them. Next: Generate the redesign.

Generate the redesign

Generate redesign writes the new homepage in the look you chose, and shows it next to the current site. The current site on the left and the redesign on the right Make the redesign 1. On the Design step, press Generate redesign. You can watch the page being written, section by section. 2. When it's done, the Current site is on the left and Redesign v1 on the right. 3. Ask for changes in the Describe a change… box at the bottom, in plain words. 4. When you're happy, press Ready to pitch. Tools on this screen - Layout, desktop and phone, zoom, full screen: the controls at the top right of the preview. - History: every version (v1, v2…) with who made it. - Redesign again: a fresh version. - Share and Export: send the design or download it. - Design counter: shows how many designs your plan has left this month, with Upgrade to get more.
